Yumi Pla

Yumi Pla has been listing and selling homes in the Miami-Dade and Broward areas for the past 18 years. Her real estate philosophy maintains a meticulous attention to the needs of her clients. Born in Cuba, Yumi experienced life in Havana as a child, then immigrated with her parents to Venezuela before finally settling in South Florida at the age of sixteen. This journey, from a small neighborhood to the evolving urban city of Miami, shaped her life. She quickly learned hard work goes hand in hand with success while working at the Marriott in Biscayne Bay as a room service attendant and helping her parents with their cleaning service. Having left Cuba with nothing, her parents’ work ethic and determination brought their family success and instilled in Yumi a lasting desire to work hard and succeed. She is a mother of two girls and the wife of an Army Veteran for 25 years. Working hard to provide for and support her family has been one of the main motivating factors for Yumi. In 2007, Yumi immersed herself in the world of real estate as an Appraisal Trainee working with Gattorno Appraisal Group, Inc. In 2008, she pursued her real estate license in order to gain more experience within the field. Twelve years later, Yumi is a Real Estate veteran who is knowledgeable in all aspects of the real estate industry.
